Dr. Chet Mays is a native of Somerset, KY and comes from a long line of surgeons. Dr. Mays has practiced for 7 years and in January 2023, he opened Mays Plastic Surgery & Med Spa in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a nationally recognized, board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery and has become a national leader in cosmetic breast surgery, authoring a textbook and over 20 book chapters. Dr. Mays considers himself an artist more than a surgeon because of his ability to sculpt the body. The operating room, or the “art studio” as he calls it, is where he completes his masterpieces. Dr. Mays is a compassionate physician who understands that plastic surgery and cosmetic treatments are very personal choices, therefore he works in collaboration with his patients for optimal, natural-looking results.
